Smile Show

This was taken with my phone and my computer wouldn't let me rotate it so it's not the best quality. This was actually taken several weeks ago. Willa wakes up so smiley in the morning. I think Matt makes a little extra noise so Willa will wake up before he leaves for work so he can see a little smile show. But that's OK since she always goes back to sleep.

G&G Wetzel's Visit

We had a great week with Matt's parents. Matt blessed Willa on Sunday. It was very sweet. Marcia made her cute blessing dress and bonnet.

Doesn't she look like a little pioneer baby? Gotta love it!

On Monday we spent the day in Kirtland, saw the LDS history sights and enjoyed some nice weather.

Matt and Wayne fished for Walleye in the Maumee River. They caught 16 fish between the two of them over three days. So we ate fish and more fish. Marcia ate fish for lunch and dinner three days in a row.
.
Matt turned 29! We celebrated by eating homemade cheesecake. Willa got dressed in her "i love daddy" onesie for the occasion.
Marcia and I kept ourselves busy sewing some little girl's dresses, running errands, and taking walks. We also took Willa to the pediatrician for her two month check up and SHOTS. She cried and cried afterwards for a bit, but was soon back to making lots of cute little faces and smiles. Willa's up to 10 pounds, 1 ounce and is 23 inches long.

Hairspray

I'm watching the movie Hairspray and . . .(please stop laughing). . . so far, my favorite part is where the fat girl, Tracy Turnblatt, wishes "that every day was Negro Day" and a black guy says "At our house, it is!" Also funny is when Christopher Walken offers Belgian chocolate shaped like animal droppings to Michelle Pfeifer, or when he improvised a bed out of whoopee cushions. I mean, overall, of course it sucks but sometimes the selection at the library is not the best.

Willa's First Two Weeks

These are some of my favorite pictures from Willa's first two weeks. We hibernated and enjoyed a visit from my parents.
