Halloween

We had a busy, busy Halloween season again this year.

We painted and carved pumpkins

Willa was a fashionista... as every 2 year old should be around Halloween.  She wore a different costume to every Halloween event we went to.

She went as a princess to the Trunk-or-Treat at church

The rest of the Wetzels went as farmers (costumes put together in under 5 minutes)

Willa's second costume was a farmer - her request.  So we all went to Matt's work party sporting plaid, denim, and straw hats.

And on Halloween she decided that she wanted to use her blue bird costume.  So the costume that actually cost money, a trip to the fabric store and some time was used.  Matt said people thought she was the Cookie Monster.  I can see the resemblence.

Matt took Willa out trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.  They were gone less than an hour and Willa came home with more candy than any 2 year old should ever eat.

My favorite part of Halloween was watching Willa pass out candy to the trick-or-treaters that came to our door.  As soon as Willa learned that kids in costumes were going to come to our door asking for candy, she sat on the bottom of our stairs (that are right by the front door), held the candy bowl (without eating any), and patiently waited.  She got so excited when kids came.  She hollered out "Happy Halloween" and passed out the candy and was just so sweet and cute.

So cute! What a fabulous Halloween. Everyone should get to sport three costumes for the events.

I like to believe Willa wore the Gator shirt during painting not because it is a junk shirt, but rather, it is Willa's favorite shirt and won't take it off - even at the risk of getting paint on it :)

And, of course, the blue-bird/ cookie monster costume is great

If Kim Kardashian can have three wedding dresses, Willa Wetzel can have three Halloween costumes.
